I feel drained. Time to recharge! I am very sure now that being with people is serious draining business.

Pens that Impale

Here is a list of pens(fountain pens, mind you) that are quite capable of impaling someone/thing.

  1. The Sheaffer Imperial

2. The Pelikan M1000 (it’s actually much bigger)

3. The Waterman Carene Deluxe

4. Bullet Pens (Made from real bullets)

5. Chilton Nibs

Actually, all pens can be used to impale, provided enough skill by the user. Hehe :P

The fonts are green now! :P

Hehe. Funnny >;D

Heh heh heh..

Insular Miniscule, halfway there! Next is the Uncials! Wooo!

Holidays are evil. They make school people stay home, and let parents torture them with housework. Lots.

At least for me, anyway.

A.I. Artificial Intelligence

…is terribly depressing.

Those who do not want their days to feel gloomy shouldn’t watch it.

--------------------

It’s the holi-holidays! Holi-holidays are here~!

1 week of no school, of being stuck at home, and, for those who are sitting for STPM, of studies.

What to do? What to do?

Good thing I have “Much Ado About Nothing” and “The Merchant of Venice” to keep me busy… for a day or two.

Blah. :)

God

Today(last Friday, actually. This was placed in the drafts.), a schoolmate asked me about God. I became rather excited, but then that person eventually revealed to me that she wanted to know just so because she had to give a presentation about God to her tuition class, and if she had a choice, she would have chosen Jet Li instead. Swt!

So… I decided not to tell her there and then about God, but to slowly pen down my thoughts and “research” around. And here’s what I got:-

God is neither male nor female, though we use “he” to refer to him.

Us humans are created in God’s image.

God is perfectly unique; nothing else is like God.

God is forever and ever; He doesn’t age, nor does he have this thing called “time”.

God is in the past, present and future; yesterday, today, and tomorrow; God transcends time.

God is the author of the Bible; the people who wrote them were divinely-inspired by God.

God is love.

God is and was here all the while; no one nor thing created him; he is.

God has emotions – he can be angry, sad, happy…

God is holy, sinless; he cannot sin.

God created all things.

God is omnipotent, omnipresent and omniscient; he can do anything, he is everywhere, he knows everything.

God is righteous.

God is truth.

God is wisdom.

And so many others. God is certainly beyond my grasp, and beyond any other man’s(or woman’s) grasp of understanding…

Raain Raiin~!

I asked God for ‘torrents of rain’ to pour down and, sure it did.

Now it’s not so hot, and I can concentrate on sleeping. That’s quite an oxymoron. Haha :)

Fashion Quotes

There's never a new fashion but it's old.
Geoffrey Chaucer (1342 - 1400)

A fashion is nothing but an induced epidemic.
George Bernard Shaw (1856 - 1950)

I base my fashion taste on what doesn't itch.
Gilda Radner (1946 - 1989)

Every generation laughs at the old fashions, but follows religiously the new.
Henry David Thoreau (1817 - 1862), "Walden", 1854

I once had a sparrow alight upon my shoulder for a moment, while I was hoeing in a village garden, and I felt that I was more distinguished by that circumstance that I should have been by any epaulet I could have worn.
Henry David Thoreau (1817 - 1862)

I cannot and will not cut my conscience to fit this year's fashions.
Lillian Hellman (1905 - 1984), letter to Committee on Un-American Activities of the House of Representatives, May 19, 1952
Fashion is a form of ugliness so intolerable that we have to alter it every six months.
Oscar Wilde (1854 - 1900)

Fashion is something that goes in one year and out the other.
Unknown

The average American can get into the kingdom of heaven much more easily than he can get into the Boulevard St. Germain.
W. Somerset Maugham (1874 - 1965), The Razor's Edge, 1943
What a deformed thief this fashion is.
William Shakespeare (1564 - 1616),
"Much Ado About Nothing", Act III scene iii

Haha. What else more is to be said? :)

That Rush of Satisfaction…

…when you finish a project, lay down that final stroke of ink; when you lie there on your bed, contemplating; when you see the end result – Ah! It’s just so nice.

Though, that rush doesn’t come along when you finish a badly-written book, sadly.

Oh well!

I Wonder Why…

…people make up all sorts of excuses, find all sorts of evidence(true or not, mostly false) and view proof given skeptically(and denying it) just so they don’t have to believe in God.

And “The DaVinci Code” is steeped in lies and untruths, but, many still believe in it, for, isn’t all these speculation, myths, rumors so much more interesting and fun than the real, sound truth? Dan Brown even had the guts to state that the book contains “accurate and actual facts”.

Blargh, some people do make me sick.

Aaah!

Practice, practice, practice! And one day, you’ll have nice cursive.

Persevere, persevere, persevere! And one day, you’ll have nice cursive.

Sigh, but the patience is running thin and results are discouraging…

Oh well, we’ll see if Jon develops a nice cursive any time later, and we’ll know. Haha! :)
