Blooop

Just realized that doing a deed is not as hard as telling someone about it.

-----------

From today onwards, I declare all my fountain pens(actually, I have none usable right now) not for sharing. Someone in school sprung my one and only pen’s nib with his ogre strength pressing down onto paper when writing with it, and now, it writes as if it was scratching dry parchment. How I wish… Never mind.

Sigh, time to go shop for another cheap pen – I can’t stand ballpoints anymore. Haha. Though rollerballs are still fine.

When I am poor,

I know I’m rich.

For in the power of your name,

All things are poss-i-ble!

:) My all-time favorite song, in my all-time favorite album, All Things are Possible, along with Touching Heaven Changing Earth, and By Your Side.

Yes, call me old-fashioned. Haha :)

So young…

…and she left us.

Goodbye, Yasmin Ahmad. Your work will be remembered.

Blackletter

My goodness, even blackletter (or Old English), has many variations of it, namely: Fraktur, Textura Quadrata (with diamond legs), Textura Precisus (with diamond legs stolen), Bastard Secretary (Yes, bastard), Batarde (it’s French cousin), Schwabacher, and a far-off cousin, Rotunda.

I chose to learn Fraktur because it’s (to me) the easiest. It really is a different type of words I’m accustomed to, with its diamond heads and diamond legs and almost no curves…

Oh well! :)

Don’t fear, I’m not permanently switching my blog font to this.

Wheesh

ICAS was pure evil. I need to start reading again – my reading speed slowed to a crawl, I almost had not enough time to finish it, but Thank God, I rushed and rushed and got it done. Haha :)

The frog in my throat doesn’t want to leave, I think it even has some eggs in there now. Tadpoles in the throat! Eeww…

Jon is now trying to learn the Gothic Script, which is much more precise than Italics, and requires much more strokes in each letter.

URTI Be gone!

That’s right! Go away URTI! Shoo, shoo! Your presence isn’t welcomed!

How dare you make me disorientated and woozy for days! I shall make you pay, and pay you shall! For I have… PARACETAMOL!!

That’s right, Paracetamol! I shall laugh while your troops can’t even retreat but get killed by my white blood cells and Paracetamol!

Hohohohahuahauhauhahu ~ ~ !!

Sniff, sniff

Jon has headaches, cough, sneezes and what you feel when you’re sick. But… but.. but… They say I’m not sick. Bleh. Mum knows best, so they say.

Blaaarggh!

Yay!

I successfully grinded my fountain pen’s nib into a chisel tip, granting it line variation! Woohooo!

Sorry, no pictures. Haha :)

I wish I had this book that contains solutions to all problems… So many problems, but how to solve?!

Oh wait, there’s the Bible. Never mind then, haha!

Round-a-bout

That best describes how I think, I think…

That holds true especially if I’m trying to answer “Why” questions.

It usually goes like this:-

“What did he just say?! Does this mean that he wants to do this? Does this mean that he stands for this cause, this… principle? Doesn’t he know that it isn’t right? But then again, maybe that principle is right, it supports this value and that thing… but, it also promotes this and that – how can something that promotes this and that be good?”

---

It is definitely much more longer, but I cut it short to not bore you all with my thinking. Haha :)

Whoop. Post edited. 5/7/2009, 9.50 p.m.
