- Don’t be impatient while cooking/baking/frying!
- Have all ingredients & tools at hand before starting.
- Know your equipments!
- When in doubt, cook it longer. Better to be overdone than uncooked >.>.
- Smokes and that burning smell means something is burnt.
- Always clear your area. Don’t leave it cluttered!
- Remember to check the fire/temperature at all times!
- Improvise.
- Know your ingredients. This helps you to step 8.
- Use just enough oil to cover the surface of the pan, unless frying.
- Don’t stand behind someone else in the kitchen. He/she may be holding a knife, and when he/she turns around holding it……
- Trust your taste-buds :).
