Woaaaah

I was in a very good mood, and wanted to write what a good person the stupidstrawberryhead, Viann, is. But that suddenly changed by just a sentence. But oh well.

I suppose that person is just still young and can’t see how words can sting and why we’re supposed to guard our mouths.

But anyhoo. HUGO”S BIRTHDAY IS TOMORROOOWW!!

I’m bringing spaghetti bolognaise!! :) :) :). I hope it turns out okay. Erps.

----------

Muffins are troublesome. They get clammy and cold after a while. They need to be eaten fresh. =/. Lesson learnt: next time, JUST BAKE COOKIES! LOL :P.

People need to appreciate handwriting more. Blah. Lifeless, boring, rigid computer fonts. Blaah!

So Much Dramaaaaaa!!

As you all should know, this year’s form 2’s are just soaked in drama, with raging hormones and “I-like-you-and-you-like-me’s”. Definitely the age of instant-gratification, now… :(

How I wish that we can freely associate with one another without thinking that the other person is a potential target, or whether that person sees you as one. By “target”, I mean “girlfriend” or “boyfriend”, a term widely used these days.

The media is pushing it; the celebrities are endorsing it, having boy/girlfriends of their own. But is it something God wants us to have? Are you sure it is really the one God wants you to be with, or just a passing infatuation? It’s hard to find out. But 3 times, in Song of Songs, the Bible says “Do not arouse or awaken love until it so desires.”.

Which is to say, don’t simply arouse these feelings until you’re ready. Not that you can’t have feelings for anyone, but you don’t arouse it by purposely being close with person, touching him/her, talking/sms-ing/IM-ing him/her all day long and having this sense of “ownership” over him/her --- he/she can do whatever he/she likes and you can only influence them to a certain extent, no forcing.

That guy/girl beside you can be your closest friend for life. Why settle for a brief but intense “romance”? Broken hearts and relationships, tears are the things that comes, unless both party is mature enough to know that they aren’t meant to be, and break away peacefully without any untoward feelings.

So, friends, I’m only saying this because I care --- Guard your hearts. That guy/girl beside you? Be a friend, a good friend, or even their best friend. Please don’t ruin everything by wanting them to be your “boy/girlfriend”. I’m also saying this because I’m rather tired of all this drama, people emo-ing about in church. COME ON! Church is NOT a place where you scout for potential lovers.

I wish I can rant on. But I’d rather not. I shall wait and see. and throw oranges.

Youth Camp 2009

at Nan Hwa High School.

Many people would not like it there because of the:-

Flies

Mosquitoes

Prison-like environment

Dustiness

Heat!!

and more.. I can’t nit-pick.

But, it has many pros, too, like:-

Big, spacious places and halls

Many courts for games

Big place to run around

Many meeting spots

Wooo. :P

I can’t complain. It’s nice enough, and once you don’t bother about the flies and the heat, it’s quite a nice place :).

The aunties selling drinks sure made a profit out of us. :P. I think they put ginger in all their soups to make us buy more drinks! Eeviiill!!

-----

We played many ice-breakers. This year, we had the most ice-breakers. We didn’t call them “games” --- “ice-breakers”.

We played, in no particular order…

The Balloon Snatch-and-Sit Game! :)

Cat and Mouse

“Let me see your ________” (Not body parts, lah)

Carol Humming

Pass the Action

Elves and Reindeers

Captain’s (Qi Vin) ______

Superlatives

Uuuhhh. I can’t remember. Oh well :PP I assure you, got many others. :)

Then, group games! First, we planned our group name. Mine was “ESP”, short for “Evil Secret Police”, which is actually a misnomer, since we didn’t actually do any evil things… We actually are the most legal ever :P.

Then we had a cheer! The ESP didn’t rehearse the cheer. It was a kelam-kabut affair. So. yeah. :P And we’re all in the Almighty’s Secret Service, ASS. ME! HAH :P

The next group games, Inglorious Mafia, we had to find out 3 things --- who the Godfather is, what the priceless item is, and where it is.

We were actually very fast :P. But then, the refusal to get drugs from Jenny, the drug pusher, made us slow. We needed the “drugs” to get Samuel to talk, and give us the clue.

The “cast” for the Inglorious Mafia:-

The Godfather, Stephen Chua

Don Marcello, Samuel

Don Angelo, Qi Vin

Don Tojo, Stephen Chua

Carlotta, Serene

La Porcetta, Yi Wen, the bad sadistic marshmallow vendor!!!

The Drug Dealer, Jenny

The Money Lender, noisy Debbie

The Banker, cool Vincent

The Immigration Officer, Kirsten

The Border Guard, Kai Bing

The Jailer, Timothy

The Politician, Oh uh. I’ve forgotten >.<’ Aunty Huey Ching’s Son :)

ESP got 2 out of 3 questions right, and we were the most legal! We got the most Sporting group! Woo :P.

We had Christmas Celebrations on the last night… and dorm war, too. Though I was asleep. I heard it was messy. :P

-------

GAaah! It all passed so quickly!! :(. Now I wished I stayed up later. Haha :P.

---

Time for Sessions.

Session 1

It’s sort of like an intro to all about the other sessions. The key verses are Colossians 1:9 – 14. It is about Paul’s Prayer for the Colossians.

She then told us about 4 characteristics of a life that is pleasing to the Lord, which are:-

Fruit Bearing in every good works

Growth in the knowledge of God

Being Strengthened with all power

and Joyfully giving thanks to the Father at all times :)

-

Session 2 – Bearing Fruit

Key verse for this session is John 5:1 – 1. It talks about Jesus being the Vine, and we as the branches, and that we have to stay connected with him to bear fruit, outward fruit, and inner fruit.

Staying connected – abiding in him.

3ps of abiding – Plan devotional Time

                       Practice Primary Spiritual Disciplines

Pursue God with All your Heart

Abiding is not forced, it is an act of faith and desire. You choose, abide in him, or not.

-

Session 3 – Knowing God

Key Verse is Jeremiah 9.23 and Ecclesiastes 1:2, 2:17

It talks about how life is meaningless, even though the writer, Solomon, who had everything he wanted, without knowing God.

Then Aunty Huey Ching tells us that the actual Lord’s Prayer is John 17. The more popular “Lord’s Prayer” is more like a “disciples’ prayer”.

She tells us we need a relationship with God to know him. A relationship with him being the father, and us being the children (John 1:12).

-

Session 4 – Making Disciples

Key Verse is Mat. 28:16 – 20 and Tim. 2:3 – 4.

We are fishers of men, like the apostles were :). But now, we’re usually just doing the pleasurable church activities…

We have to be available to God’s calling, to go wherever he sends.

She tells us not to fear sharing the gospel to others, for fear indicates a lack of trust in God.

Mission starts with worship, they go hand in hand.

Availability and obedience. Obedient to God’s calling.

She also says that baptism is what Jesus desires, for the verse says “baptizing them in the name of the Father, Son and of the Holy Spirit”. Because although baptism is just an outward sign, non-believers think that only when you are baptized, you are a Christian.

-

That’s it…..? :)

Don’t go Kenzo Foot Reflexology and Fish Spa! Their Fish isn’t the real Dr. Fish!!

KL was…. good? :) It was fun.

I prefer Ipoh, with it’s good food, good prices and free roads. :P. And it’s cleaner (well, a little) air.

Though, I wish Ipoh had more shops!! Especially pen shops :P and paper boutiques. Though I think I’ll be broke all the while then. Haha :). Anybody knows where in Ipoh sells nice paper?

Boooooks!

I like books. Books are nice. They are fun. Books have many uses. They can be read, they can make you look as if you are reading, they can be used as a shield, they can be used as a weapon, they can be a decoration……

But please, don’t use your book as a door stop (well, maybe the Twillight series)! Surely, it deserves more respect than that!

Do you know how much time is given just to make ONE book(that is, if you buy a good hardbound-cover book, not some chipplak one :P)?

---

I still think Sasuke’s hair is like a chicken. and Edward Cullen’s hair is pure ridiculous, and so is Christopher Khoo’s.

Huhuhuhu :P

Oh my goodness! Beautiful marbled paper! Expensive! Smooth! How exquisite!! Por mooi!!

:P Forgive the noisiness of this post. HAHA!

I blame this on NICOLEYEANKARMUN, who types in all caps. Very contagious --- it spread to me, too :(. Oh nuu! What happened to good punctuation?

Oh well :P

Jon has a theory :P.

The theory that as we grow older, we want to do more childish stuff. BUT, there’s a difference – childish people doing childish things and mature people doing childish things.

Lets analyze:-

Childish People doing childish things:

Doing it for attention

To annoy people (for attention)

To assert their “importance” and “power”

and dot-dot-dot. The main factor here is “ATTENTION”.

Mature people doing childish things:

For fun!

To push boredom away.

To liven the atmosphere :P.

and dot-dot-dot. The main factor here is “FUN”.

Hohoho! So, are you a mature, or childish person?

But of course, Jon’s theory may be flawed =/. Oh well. Haha

Rabbit meat is actually very healthy. Dogs and cats eat it.

Rabbit meat has the highest protein in meats, and the lowest fat and cholesterol! So healthy!

So, next time, go rabbit meat! MWHahhahahahh :P

Red Feet

The playground at church dyed my feet red. I hope it goes away soon =/.

To Kill A Mockingbird is nice! Though, I may be just echoing the thousands of people who read it…

---

I don’t like people who talk and do nothing.

I dislike those who complain and do nothing.

I hate those who backstab and complain about others, and do nothing about it. I suppose they have not the guts enough to say it up front to the person, and instead of helping, they just choose to talk bad about the person. It is most “angry-fying”.

Blarrgh!

---

Oh, wow! A long post :P.

Buddhism is a so-confusing religion! But it’s not a religion, it’s more like a “spiritual philosophy”, since it has no Absolute Creator God.

Thank God Christianity isn’t so confusing and mixed-up like Buddhism :)!

Jon wants an oblique-penholder =(.

It’s Sunday, here goes:-

Dear God,

It has been a great-great week. I thank you for it. Please, Lord, let this week be a great one, too, filled with your joy and love.

Lord, help me dull this sharp tongue of mine. It lashes out at people, hurting them. I pray that you would give me the strength to control it, and the patience to put up with some people. Please help me see things in your perspective.

I’m sorry, for the many-many bad things I did last week. I truly regret them, for it shows that I tried to push you out of my mind, even with you willingly offering your help. Please forgive me. Help me.

Youth Camp is drawing near. I pray that the planning will go well, that the location won’t be changed, causing inconveniences. I pray for the people I asked to go, to go :). But most of all, let your will be done.

People are having their exams now. I pray that you will calm them down, ease their worries away, fill them with your joy :). Help them to remember what they studied, and to understand the questions.

Please, help me put you first in everything. I realize I constantly push you aside, forgetting you are there.

Dear Lord, above all, let my actions be praises unto you, worship unto you, glorifying you, lifting your name up high :).

      Thank you, Lord. Amen.

Woooo

Youth was surprisingly good :). I like playing slippers more than captain ball, period. I suppose that’s because I like dodging and throwing things at people. Haha :P

-

It’s Sunday, here goes:-

Dear God,

Thank you for whatever happened last week --- you being with me during the exams, comforting me, helping me in ways unimaginable; strengthening me when I felt I had to give in. But I’m weak --- I still gave in.

Sorry. Please help me, Lord, not to do it again, not to give in to temptation, this week and after. Thank you, God, for taking away my worries during MYF today. I believe now, nothing I can do will change your plan --- all I have to do it follow it :).

I pray, Lord, please let this week be a week that I will glorify your name. Let whatever I do be worship unto you. Bless my work. Help me feel awed by your power and majesty, please.

But above all, let your will be done; but please, listen to this prayer. Thank you, lord, amen.

.

In a way, I’m dreading the results; I can’t sleep.

But, maybe I can sleep, if I just turn off the computer and hit the sack.

-

Eeesh. I wonder why exams ask us for our opinions, just to mark it off as wrong. Surely our opinions aren’t some memorized paragraphs or definitions of some sort.

How I wish for many judgmental ways to just go away. It’s not benefiting me, nor anyone else. Oh well.

Free, at last!!

Exams are over! Wooo! Yes, you’ve read right --- exams, over!

Though, I do suppose the results would be a little less than satisfactory… =/ Or not.

Hou hou hou hou hou.

Brooke Fraser is nice. Go listen to her!

I wish she would make more albums, though. But then, if that means if her songs would get bad, I’d rather not have them. Oh well.

I suddenly want to continue my Hebrew-learning-process. Haha. It stopped. So busy --- penmanship, calligraphy, exams!, God,… . Hohoho. But now, I shall be very freeee!

Shorthand

I want to learn! But’s it’s oh-so-complicated.

Blah.

It’s very useful for sermons, though. Hnn.

Baptism class was okay :). I was wondering why I didn’t take it earlier. Maybe because I’m quite the commitment-phobe.. =/ But thank God, I’m committed to You!

Ting-a-ling-a-ling

Abel Chi is afraid of fake and/or weird sounding explosions.

---

It’s the exams. The “climate” is apparently rather relaxed. Not like last year --- so frantic!

---

Jon can afford another pen now. :P But he shall save for a more expensive one. Mhwahahah

---

I’m making another notebook! Can’t decide what colour to put as it’s cover. It has foam underneath, very very soft, and thick. I hope the fly-leaves get stuck on easily >.<’’.

---

Uuuh. Okay, that’s it…?

Tuesday, October 6, 2009

Oh Nuuu

Exams!! I’m in a dilemma now: use cursive for English essay or italics? The teacher seems to like cursive more, but it can get rather messy =/. While I’m very very sloooow at writing italics…

Also, the pen I use to write italics gets heated up by my hand easily, making the ink inside it expand, then making it unable to write for a while, until it cools =/. Rather tedious. Should change it back to convertor. Most of you won’t understand what I’m talking about now. Haha :P

I like this font. :P It’s rather small, though. It’s called LudoVico. Quite a bizarre script, if you ask me.

Resume

Yup, yup. Windows Live Writer couldn’t be used with that template, so I changed it to this :).

Weeelll. Lets see. What’s new…

Sam left; Rachel’s leaving.

“A Crazy Little Thing called Love”, by the Footstool Players.

Rachel’s farewell party :).

My “poisonous” Chocolate Pound Cake which slowly poisons you, making you die by 80 years --- (14 + 80 = 94, very very long life) Don’t have any pictures of it, though, it got eaten up too quickly. (Nah, just kidding, it took about 4 days to finish it :(, Had to force some to eat it too. Haha.

Hari Raya! Didn’t get invited by any Malay friends for any open houses, though :(.

Time to bodek-bodek them :P.

I’m missing my pens terribly much :(. I left my pen case, along with my drum sticks and notebook, in Abel’s car. Oh well. I’ll have to make do with David’s present :) Hohoho.

I like Vivaldi(this font), and the real Vivaldi, too :).

That’s it…? :)

Exams are here, and my mother is worrying and nagging and blahing a lot, so, yeah, updates will be scant :(.

Pen pen pen pen pen!

Jon invaded the flea market in Ipoh, hoping to run off with some pens(fountain pens, mind you). But his mother and father walked soooo quickly, he had to quickly glance through everything, missing much things.

Oh well. I shall try again next week! Mwahahahaha!

Pssshhhhttt

That’s what happened to my legs today. I dipped them into water that is between 42 – 50 degrees Celsius, so did Sam, Joy and Papa and Mama.

We went to the Hot Springs in “Sung Kai”(?). It was hot! The water can reach to 100 degrees Celsius, bubbling and boiling!

You can smell sulphur, which smells like rotten eggs, too!. :)

But before we went there, the car broke down…

So, we waited for the tow-truck.

From 9.30a.m., till almost about 12p.m..

-----------------

After cooking ourselves in hot water, we went to Kampar to makan.

Then we came home.

I skipped school, too.

Pens that Impale

Here is a list of pens(fountain pens, mind you) that are quite capable of impaling someone/thing.

  1. The Sheaffer Imperial

2. The Pelikan M1000 (it’s actually much bigger)

3. The Waterman Carene Deluxe

4. Bullet Pens (Made from real bullets)

5. Chilton Nibs

Actually, all pens can be used to impale, provided enough skill by the user. Hehe :P

The fonts are green now! :P

Hehe. Funnny >;D

…is terribly depressing.

Those who do not want their days to feel gloomy shouldn’t watch it.

It’s the holi-holidays! Holi-holidays are here~!

1 week of no school, of being stuck at home, and, for those who are sitting for STPM, of studies.

What to do? What to do?

Good thing I have “Much Ado About Nothing” and “The Merchant of Venice” to keep me busy… for a day or two.

God

Today(last Friday, actually. This was placed in the drafts.), a schoolmate asked me about God. I became rather excited, but then that person eventually revealed to me that she wanted to know just so because she had to give a presentation about God to her tuition class, and if she had a choice, she would have chosen Jet Li instead. Swt!

So… I decided not to tell her there and then about God, but to slowly pen down my thoughts and “research” around. And here’s what I got:-

God is neither male nor female, though we use “he” to refer to him.

Us humans are created in God’s image.

God is perfectly unique; nothing else is like God.

God is forever and ever; He doesn’t age, nor does he have this thing called “time”.

God is in the past, present and future; yesterday, today, and tomorrow; God transcends time.

God is the author of the Bible; the people who wrote them were divinely-inspired by God.

God is love.

God is and was here all the while; no one nor thing created him; he is.

God has emotions – he can be angry, sad, happy…

God is holy, sinless; he cannot sin.

God created all things.

God is omnipotent, omnipresent and omniscient; he can do anything, he is everywhere, he knows everything.

God is righteous.

God is truth.

God is wisdom.

And so many others. God is certainly beyond my grasp, and beyond any other man’s(or woman’s) grasp of understanding…

Raain Raiin~!

I asked God for ‘torrents of rain’ to pour down and, sure it did.

Now it’s not so hot, and I can concentrate on sleeping. That’s quite an oxymoron. Haha :)

There's never a new fashion but it's old.
Geoffrey Chaucer (1342 - 1400)

A fashion is nothing but an induced epidemic.
George Bernard Shaw (1856 - 1950)

I base my fashion taste on what doesn't itch.
Gilda Radner (1946 - 1989)

Every generation laughs at the old fashions, but follows religiously the new.
Henry David Thoreau (1817 - 1862), "Walden", 1854

I once had a sparrow alight upon my shoulder for a moment, while I was hoeing in a village garden, and I felt that I was more distinguished by that circumstance that I should have been by any epaulet I could have worn.
Henry David Thoreau (1817 - 1862)

I cannot and will not cut my conscience to fit this year's fashions.
Lillian Hellman (1905 - 1984), letter to Committee on Un-American Activities of the House of Representatives, May 19, 1952

That Rush of Satisfaction…

…when you finish a project, lay down that final stroke of ink; when you lie there on your bed, contemplating; when you see the end result – Ah! It’s just so nice.

Though, that rush doesn’t come along when you finish a badly-written book, sadly.

Oh well!

I Wonder Why…

…people make up all sorts of excuses, find all sorts of evidence(true or not, mostly false) and view proof given skeptically(and denying it) just so they don’t have to believe in God.

And “The DaVinci Code” is steeped in lies and untruths, but, many still believe in it, for, isn’t all these speculation, myths, rumors so much more interesting and fun than the real, sound truth? Dan Brown even had the guts to state that the book contains “accurate and actual facts”.

Blargh, some people do make me sick.

Aaah!

Practice, practice, practice! And one day, you’ll have nice cursive.

Persevere, persevere, persevere! And one day, you’ll have nice cursive.

Sigh, but the patience is running thin and results are discouraging…

Oh well, we’ll see if Jon develops a nice cursive any time later, and we’ll know. Haha! :)

Blooop

Just realized that doing a deed is not as hard as telling someone about it.

-----------

From today onwards, I declare all my fountain pens(actually, I have none usable right now) not for sharing. Someone in school sprung my one and only pen’s nib with his ogre strength pressing down onto paper when writing with it, and now, it writes as if it was scratching dry parchment. How I wish… Never mind.

Sigh, time to go shop for another cheap pen – I can’t stand ballpoints anymore. Haha. Though rollerballs are still fine.

Blackletter

My goodness, even blackletter (or Old English), has many variations of it, namely: Fraktur, Textura Quadrata (with diamond legs), Textura Precisus (with diamond legs stolen), Bastard Secretary (Yes, bastard), Batarde (it’s French cousin), Schwabacher, and a far-off cousin, Rotunda.

I chose to learn Fraktur because it’s (to me) the easiest. It really is a different type of words I’m accustomed to, with its diamond heads and diamond legs and almost no curves…

Oh well! :)

Don’t fear, I’m not permanently switching my blog font to this.

Wheesh

ICAS was pure evil. I need to start reading again – my reading speed slowed to a crawl, I almost had not enough time to finish it, but Thank God, I rushed and rushed and got it done. Haha :)

The frog in my throat doesn’t want to leave, I think it even has some eggs in there now. Tadpoles in the throat! Eeww…

Jon is now trying to learn the Gothic Script, which is much more precise than Italics, and requires much more strokes in each letter.

URTI Be gone!

That’s right! Go away URTI! Shoo, shoo! Your presence isn’t welcomed!

How dare you make me disorientated and woozy for days! I shall make you pay, and pay you shall! For I have… PARACETAMOL!!

That’s right, Paracetamol! I shall laugh while your troops can’t even retreat but get killed by my white blood cells and Paracetamol!

Hohohohahuahauhauhahu ~ ~ !!

Yay!

I successfully grinded my fountain pen’s nib into a chisel tip, granting it line variation! Woohooo!

Sorry, no pictures. Haha :)

I wish I had this book that contains solutions to all problems… So many problems, but how to solve?!

Oh wait, there’s the Bible. Never mind then, haha!

Round-a-bout

That best describes how I think, I think…

That holds true especially if I’m trying to answer “Why” questions.

It usually goes like this:-

“What did he just say?! Does this mean that he wants to do this? Does this mean that he stands for this cause, this… principle? Doesn’t he know that it isn’t right? But then again, maybe that principle is right, it supports this value and that thing… but, it also promotes this and that – how can something that promotes this and that be good?”

---

It is definitely much more longer, but I cut it short to not bore you all with my thinking. Haha :)

Whoop. Post edited. 5/7/2009, 9.50 p.m.

This post is subject to severe editing. Dear readers, you all shall have to wait till I collect my round-a-bout thoughts. Hahah :)

Ayam Bach!

Kedah is a place where people play recordings of birds so birds would come… In other words, it’s a rather noisy place. Haha :)

------

Most of my time there were spent in the hospital, waiting for my mother to finally emerge from the operation room. My strong, loud mother; my superwoman; my mother.

But, who came out, was so different, so weak, so soft, so frail… that it hurts me.

Sigh. But healing will come soon; recovery is expected, for God will, and can, heal, She will become the lively character she had been, and maybe even better. :)

--------

For those who do not know, my mother is currently in a stable condition, under the care of nurses in the ICU of Kampar Medical Centre. Though, she’ll soon be transferred to the Kampar GH.

The operation was successful, thanks to God’s grace.

Routine

Routine this year hasn’t exactly been normal…

First, school started. I was still in holiday mood. Before that mood could even try to leave, Chinese New Year comes! 1 week of visitation, ang paus, food and idleness!

Then, it was ISCF camp. After a few weeks after camp, exams came. Those who know me would know of my indifference to exams. Haha. But still, exams = no homework = holiday!

Right after exams, 2 weeks holiday! I’m still recovering from holiday mood; the break from routine, and voila, I’m going to Kedah tomorrow… Why? Read Sam's blog.

Playing for Night Service and then also for MYF is rather tiring…

I do pray for the week that I will have to play for Night Service, K.I.D.S, and MYF will never ever come!!!!

But then again. . .  Hohohoh :)

Band thingie

Hohoho. I increased my font size to promote less-eyestrain and help people see things clearer!! Hohoho.

-----------

Jangan “rush”! Kita ada banyak masa, no? :P

Bekerjasama dengan ahli-ahli kumpulan masing-masing, ini sangat “important”!!

Praise and Worship God!!” Tak tau frasa B.M. untuk tu, hoho.

Saya “hope” itu sajalah. Saya ni tidak mecatatkan nota. HOhohohoho.

Well there, a malay post. HOhohohohohohoo!!

Ink!

Oh, the shade of colour it is when delivered on paper, through a nib. The perfect shade! Oh, the elusive perfect shade of colour – the amount of black, blue….. mixed together to make the perfect shade!

In a quest to make it – with my very limited ink supplies – I sort of found it! Though, it needs more blue.

Pictures!

IMG_2293

The very messy workplace, though it was just reorganized, it was much more messy, with everything everywhere.

IMG_2296

Bottles of ink! (L – R) My own mix of Hero Blue-Black and Calligraphy Black ink, Hero Blue-Black Ink, Hero Blue Ink and Calligraphy Black Ink.

Hero Ink because of it’s cheapness – RM1.50 per bottle! Haha

Calligraphy Ink is RM8.50, though…

IMG_2297

IMG_2298

-gasp- The syringe! To get the exact quantities of ink, and to refill my cartridges, though I rarely to it. Not to take drugs, unless you count ink as a drug… Hmmmm…

IMG_2301

Blue-Black! Notice the shading of blue going to black? It is highly unnoticeable by ballpoint pen users. Haha :P

Price to pay

IMG_2303

My fingers here are contorted awkwardly so the camera could take in all of them, Haha.

IMG_2305IMG_2304

Inky fingers! But then, they are easily washed off, unless they get into the nails… Erps.

Donkey’s going for a pedicure and a manicure :P.

EXAMS!

GAAAH! RUN FOR YOUR LIFES! RARWRWARWAR!

Oh wait, it won’t be here till Thursday, at least for me. Phew, phew, phew.

While you people are training to battle the evil monster, the donkey is learning a new hand! What fun – a complete transition from cursive, to Chancery’s Italics!

I am oh-so-wanting for a crisp italic nib, or not, its rather hard to use.

Oh well, till then! Survive, people! Oh wait, before that, a donkey playing the guitar!

Long Periods of Inactivity

of blogs, caused by the evil, looming exams (to some, its already here! –gasp-)

People don’t come online, mails, sms-es aren’t replied. Oh, no!

Some even forgo church!

Sigh.

Oh well. This won’t continue for long, thank God. :) The bright, bright light shines at the end of this tunnel of exams – HOLIDAYS! and for me, someone.

The light at the end of the scary-looking tunnel!

Double Dutch

Today was a very nice day:

I played for MYF,

I socialized (sort of :P),

Dearest Crystal and Nicole planned another surprise birthday thingie:

At first, I was talking to Joseph, then suddenly, I heard people singing “Happy Birthday”. I thought they were singing for someone else, so I joined in, loudly.

Then, Joseph went, “they are singing for you lah!” Then I went “No, no, no!”. But the cake came to me.

The cake was perfectly yummy, and filling too!

Thank you superbly much, Crystal and Nicole! Remind me to get you each a garbage cake and a carrot cake. :P

I…. uh… what did I do? I… did many other things! :)

Hahahaha. Too bad this donkey has a sieve for a brain.

Poof.

The donkey disappeared for a while.

But oh, never mind, he is here now, isn’t he? :)

-----------------------------

Wuthering Heights took longer for me to finish it than expected. 3 weeks{?!}. I do believe that is because of my many, many diversions…

SLEEP! Sleep is oh, so delicious, for a weary ass (that’s me). The smooth sheets; the soft pillows; the oh-so-inviting bed, aah! How can one ever resist it?

Hurr, hurr, hurr… So now you all know what I’ve been up to lately. Haha!

1115526703_9b35d4bd79

This donkey ain’t dead! It’s sleeping!

Did anyone wear black yesterday? :)

I sure didn’t, though I don’t really approve what BN is doing. Oh well.

Reunion!

Oooh! It’s over!

------------

7:30p.m.

Jenny’s House

Wear camp shirt and name tag, if you have.

- -- - --

I’m proud to say, I got there early! Mwhahaahahha! But unfortunately, the crazy squirrel was earlier!

The committee was already there to, with the exception of Cinderella, and Sue Jane.

-------------

Food - pizzas, pasta (made by Jenny), KFC! Oooh.. A truly fattening day!

--------------

We saw sketches, depicting what happened in camp. Then, the BBC created a dance, to the tune of the “Chicken Dance” song (chickens, birds…. see the connection? :P).

------------

Charades! They imitated people, asking us to guess who are they impersonating.

---------------

Evil Zhi Yang and Darren accused Natasha of having a relationship with – of all people – me, just because they heard Natasha saying that Jenny's house’s balcony is “so romantic”, and they went “Ooooh, so romantic, with Wai Jon arr??”

This went on for a while, and I dare say Natasha was vexed to a certain degree.

Worse of all, after pairing me up with Natasha, they made me wonder “what would Grace feel?!”. Sweat!

Oh well, oh well.

I do repeat, again, I like Grace, Natasha, Constance, Jo Ann, Melissa, Crystal…. them all, as sisters in Christ, and as friends. It’s rather too young for me to be ber-dating now, or any boy/girl-friend relationships.

---------------------------------

Oh, please don’t think I’m angry, I’m not. Haha :P.

Tsk. Tsk. Tsk.

:) :(
Tomorrow no school! What to do?

Haha. The happy/unhappy table.

--------------------

Oh wait, I know what to do!!  I can practice my handwriting! :)

They say that nice penmanship comes from the shoulder, never the fingers, claiming that “finger-writing” makes your writing looks cramped, tight and ugly.

It seems to work for me. :)

Anyway, for more info, go here.

P.s: Just realized, the title has absolutely no connections with the content, oh well. Haha…

My P-ppp-prreeciousss!

Guess what’s that? A new computer? a bike? a PDA? a high-tech gizmo? No!

Its a – drum rolls – fountain pen!

More specifically, its  a Pilot Unic fountain pen, thought I can’t seem to find it anywhere online, hmmmm….

Anyways, pictures!

IMG_2226

A very “un-glam” picture of it. My photography skills…. –sigh-

IMG_2225

In its “bed”.

IMG_2232

My horrible handwriting – inconsistent, but consistently ugly.

IMG_2237

Roar! The pen is mightier than the sword – whilst the tongue is mightier than all! Heh :P.

Ooooh.. and random one:-

IMG_2234

Chocolate cookies! Yum yum yum!!!!

Bye bye! :P

Beautiful Handwriting!

How I long to have handwriting like the ones in this blog!

Nice penmanship is so hard to find these days…

Whee!!!

Big fat Pirate Squirrel! :P

S & D

Squirrel & Donkey! :)

I will give you nuts for eating all your nuts in the bus. :P I know that was your “winter stash”, Hahaha!

Wheeeee…!!

Contented

Praise be to God!! Just when I thought this dream would drag on for overly long periods of time, He woke me up!

Muhahahaha. I do not have to endure much pinching next Sunday now. :P

----------

Edit: I thought again, and I got this:- by talking bad about someone, we're judging that person,               and we can't judge others, because we ourselves commit what we condemn, hypocritically.             Oh well, answer gotten :).

I thought:-

The Bible says: “Do not slander!” somewhere. I checked its definition:-

slan·der

n.

1. Law Oral communication of false statements injurious to a person's reputation.

2. A false and malicious statement or report about someone.

v. slan·dered, slan·der·ing, slan·ders

v.tr.

To utter a slander about. See Synonyms at malign.

v.intr.

To utter or spread slander.

Note this: A false and malicious statement or report about someone.

So does this mean we can talk bad about someone if its true?

Jon is blur now, please enlighten him >.<’’.

Toodles~! :P
